Ahloki candles take you through a personal olfactory journey. My fragrances are inspired by profound emotion and faraway travels. They combine distinction, minimalism and simplicity. Once lit up, Ahloki’s gentle aromas will whisk you to a happy place, surround you with a peaceful ambience, induce a warm and gentle charm. Each fragrance will share my journey with you, a piece of my memoir poured into each jar to produce a tranquil pièce de résistance, personally designed to captivate and take you on your very own journey of luxury, elegance and excellence.

WHERE IT BEGAN
Fragrance has a very profound power in my life. They conjure up nostalgic moments, moments of love and joy. Simple fragrances evoke a sublime association with my memories. Each Ahloki candle is formulated to rekindle aromas harbouring in places that mark my life experiences. They encompass my life and the quintessence journey to my soul. Ahloki’s story began in the home’s most creative space: the kitchen. Combining a deep passion for fragrance with a desire for safe, natural, and toxin-free products, I hand-poured my first Ahloki candle made from natural plant wax, vegetable oil blends, herbal and botanical ingredients.
It is this profound experience I want to share with you through my fragrances. Like a key, each candle unlocks a story and bring it to the present. Someone once told me, the soul can speak through our senses. My fragrances are in search of soulful meanings, trapped in our surroundings, they encircle the little moments that pass us by, but we take no heed. When you get a whiff of it again, you are transposed back to the exact moment that made you feel a deep sense of love, happiness, joy, pleasure, peace, tranquillity and calmness.
Ahloki was founded on the backbone of this link between Eco-friendly fragrances, transparency and memory. Our team is a small team, with my son standing guard as Chief happiness officer. Pouring tons of joy into each candle through its journey of formulating, hand pouring, curing, sealing and packaging.
Each Ahloki candle is like a personal letter to you, in this case, not written on paper, but infused in wax and sealed with love. My candles entrap tales of exotic cultures, fond moments and wanderlust. By unlocking my memories through scent and I want to inspire you to create your special moments, trapping them in a candle and reliving them over and over again.

Ahloki candles are handcrafted with love.
Hand-poured in Bristol’s green countryside, enjoy a toxic-free clean, relaxing burn. Rich aromas derived from botanical and herbal formulations, blended with fragrant oils. We make our candles from 100% vegetal wax, free from harmful phthalates, paraben and sulfates. Our candles have a delicate cold throw and strong hot throw when lit, made up of a rich 10% fragrance ratio. We use premium grade fragrance oil and /or essential oils with no additives, dyes or preservatives. Our candles are made from animal-free products, making them suitable for vegans and vegetarians. A minimalistic modern decor that will fill your space with elegance and a delicate aroma.
Ahloki is proud to be 100% plastic-free. We stand strong on our values to respect and preserve our environment. Our ethos to reduce, reuse, recycle and upcycle echos throughout what we do. Our glass jars are made from 98% recycled glass. We use lead-free cotton wicks in all our candles. All our packaging is 100% recyclable & reusable, made from 100% recycled or reused paper. All our material is sourced locally, ethically and responsibly. Our wax seals are made from a blend of sustainable wax, bio-resins, potato starch and gum guar derivatives. We strive to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.

Did you know you can make your very own solid perfume? Making your own body fragrances gives you the first degree of freedom and control on ingredient choices and scent profiles. They are perfect for people who are eco-conscious and prefer to use natural ingredients. Solid-state means less spillage and additional moisturising benefits. A simple recipe I use is:
• 1 tbsp carrier oils (sweet almond, olive or jojoba oil)
• 2 tbsp coconut, soy wax or carnauba oil.
• 5 drops of vitamin E oil or shea / cocoa butter (optional)
• 20-50 drops of your favourite essentials oil blends.
Very slowly melt the wax. Add in carrier oil + vitamin E oil and gently mix, add in essential oils and take it off the heat. Do not leave it on the heat (heating causes the essential oils to evaporate). Pour in a container and let it set for few hours till it solidifies!

Did you know you can make your very own solid perfume? Making your own body fragrances gives you the first degree of freedom and control on ingredient choices and scent profiles. They are perfect for people who are eco-conscious and prefer to use natural ingredients. Solid-state means less spillage and additional moisturising benefits. A simple recipe I use is:
• 1 tbsp carrier oils (sweet almond, olive or jojoba oil)
• 2 tbsp coconut, soy wax or carnauba oil.
• 5 drops of vitamin E oil or shea / cocoa butter (optional)
• 20-50 drops of your favourite essentials oil blends.
Very slowly melt the wax. Add in carrier oil + vitamin E oil and gently mix, add in essential oils and take it off the heat. Do not leave it on the heat (heating causes the essential oils to evaporate). Pour in a container and let it set for few hours till it solidifies!
